Steam is the paid full game. itch.io Prototype 0.5.5 remains Name your own price and is not a free Steam SKU. Windows 10 is the PC minimum with an i5 or Ryzen, 8 GB RAM, Intel UHD 630, DirectX 11, and 1 GB storage; macOS lists Apple M1 with 8 GB RAM. Linux is false on Steam and true only for the prototype zips.

Controller support is on the post-launch list with online challenge mode, transparent fabrics, and mobile and Switch ports. Steam currently advertises Mouse Only Option and Playable without Timed Input. Play with a mouse until the studio says the controller work landed.

Languages and the Chinese title

Full-audio languages on Steam are English, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese. The Simplified Chinese storefront titles the game 针影裁梦. Japanese storefronts keep Dressmaker in Latin letters. Ukrainian, Thai, Vietnamese, and Indonesian storefronts still ship English copy, which is why those storefronts are not a source of local terms.

Official names come from those storefronts, not from fan transcription. Until a language has a local title on Steam, the Latin Dressmaker is the name to search. Audio support is not the same thing as every UI string being voiced, and a full-audio flag does not mean every market has a translated store page.

No official Bilibili or Weibo account was confirmed for 针影裁梦. What is live versus what is promised

Live: Steam ship on 21 September 2026, Build 403, 32 achievements, shop bell, grain and bias cutting, infinite bobbin, five named fabric families, ten named major-commission clients, Steam Cloud, Family Sharing. Those are store flags and patch notes you can verify without a leak.

Promised: online challenge mode, transparent fabrics, proper controller support, mobile and Switch ports, small bugfix updates. Those are launch-post sentences, not store flags, and they do not change the current Windows and macOS pair or flip Linux to true on Steam. Treat them as a roadmap, not as a feature list you can click in the live Steam build today.

The upside-down 福 on the front desk is intentional. July Tea said so after 200,000 wishlists, in the same post that locked 21 September 2026 as the ship date. Small bugfix updates were also promised in the out-now post, which is how Build 403 arrived two days later.

Game bugs, refunds, and saves go to Steam and to Cozy Lives, not to dressmaker.info. The Discord invite discord.gg/tBa93Rzgj5 is the public developer-adjacent room listed on itch and the press kit. Channel history is members-only; the invite page is not a patch tracker and will not replace Steam news.

dressmaker.info is unofficial. It rehosts official stills and achievement icons with credit. It does not sell keys. The empty advertisement boxes on these pages belong to this site. Cozy Lives said the game itself has no microtransactions, ads, or generative AI, which is a product statement about Dressmaker, not about this fan site's ad slots.
